Original Toronto Star caption: Claiming they are victims of racial discrimination; Bakshijh Singh Bhatti (left); 62; and his wife; Pritam Kaur; 45; walked off the job with about 12 other East Indian workers last Friday at a North York factory. Bhatti said walkout was sparked when an East Indian employee was fired for what he says are racist reasons. He said 9 of plant's 21 East Indian workers are staying off jobs in sympathy.
