Original Toronto Star caption: Radioactive fill, 12,000 cubic yards of it, is being hauled away from Ivan Lewis' property in Port Hope as a bulldozer replaces it with clean earth. Lewis' backyard was filled with earth from a dump used by Eldorado Nuclear Ltd.; the same fill was used on the site of St. Mary's Separate School, which was closed last week. Health Minister Frank Miller says readings inside the school of radon gas were as much as 12 times the accepted safe level.
