Original Toronto Star caption: The Mural Lounge; the combination observation-bar car at the rear of the train; serves refreshments and a horizon-to-horizon view of mountain scenery. This car is for the use of sleeping-car passengers; a similar domed observation car at the front serves coach passengers. Seasoned travellers who ride the train regularly say the scenery of the Fraser River is always different because the light in the canyon is always different.
