Original Toronto Star caption: Smugglers jailed: Jasvir Singh; left; of England and Swede Rolf Nygren are led out of Halifax court yesterday after pleading guilty to 174 counts of aiding and abetting the refugees' smuggling operation. Nygren was jailed one year and fined $5;000. Singh got three months and a $5;000 fine.
