Original Toronto Star caption: Does a folk mass count as a real mass? People sometimes ask Rev. Ed bader, left, director of the Catholic information Centre on Bathurst St. we used folk hymns (provided here by Frank Ash on guitar and his wife, Donna, singing) they thought somehow it wasn't a real mass, he says. Folk masses are symbolic of the revolution in the church which includes allowing secular dress for priests and some nuns.
