Original Toronto Star caption: 5;000 Metro-area muslims at prayers; About 5;000 Muslims from Metro and the suburbs gathered this morning in the Coliseum at Exhibition Place to offer Eid-ul-Adha prayers. They were led by Dr. Gamal Badawi of Dalhousie University; Halifax. White sheets were laid on floor of main enclosure and all who entered removed shoes. Here; they kneel to East while mullah calls. According to 1975 statistics there are nearly 822 million Muslims in the world; and 57 countries where Muslim population is over 50 percent.
