Original Toronto Star caption: Boxing day sales drew thousands of shoppers to take advantage of post-Christmas bargains. Some were spending gifts of cash at Christmas. Others were stoking up on decorations and gift-wrap so they can do it again next year. At the A & A record store; Yonge St.; shoppers lined up from 8.30 a.m. to get first crack at bargains. Every few minutes a store employee would announce newest sale items and crowd would push to the spot; keeping clerks busy.
