Lot 17, Con. 2 East. Leslie St. & Sheppard Ave. House on the west side of Leslie Street north of Sheppard Avenue. John McBride, son of Sergeant John McBride Sr., settled on lot 17, con. 1 east in the early 1800s (though the patent wasn't registered until 1830), and on lot 17, con. 2 east in 1838. The house was built around 1860.
