The second heavy storm in five days flooded hundreds of basements and disrupted power in about 20 east-end blocks in the Queen-Greenwood area. Toronto apparently took the worst drenching in the Metro area-over an inch in 12 hours. Flooding temporarily blocked Lake Shore Blvd. at the CNE; the Queensway near Park Lawn Rd. in Etobicoke and 16th St. in New Toronto.
