Original Toronto Star caption: Striking Teachers should go back to work and settle their dispute by compulsory arbitration; a decided majority of people at a meeting in North York indicated last night. At one point; 600 were there; later the number dwindled to 200. At both times; a vote by show-of-hands favored a return to work. The meeting was called by Education; a council of Home and School Associations in North York. Parents; trustees; teachers and students spoke; some from a microphone.
