Original Toronto Star caption: Getting their mail away despite the postal strike; people line up patiently in front of express window at bus terminal on Bay St.; some of them using carts and even laundry baskets to carry their parcels. With the strike now in its seventh day; many businesses are beginning to feel the pinch and several organizations have set up emergency pony express services. Talks between government negotiators and postal union representatives resumed in Ottawa today after postal workers modified some of their demands.
