Original Toronto Star caption: Blue line: Metro police stand fast at Canada Post's South Central plant on Eastern Ave. yesterday to allow trucks laden with mail and buses carrying some 400 replacement workers to enter and leave past pickets. Strikers picketed en masse outside the plant; despite a court order restricting pickets to four an entrance. Canada Post is quite satisfied the mail is moving well.
