Original Toronto Star caption: Standing firm: Letter carriers held what started out as a peaceful demonstration at the Tapscott Road office of Canada Post in Scarborough yesterday. They tried to block carloads of people being interviewed as replacement workers. Things turned ugly as the placard-carrying carriers confronted replacement workers with shouts.
