Original Toronto Star caption: Commuters lined up outside Union Station yesterday for buses to take them home. The buses replaced the GO Transit rail service which was stopped by a rotating strike of non-operating railway workers. The strike; throughout Ontario east of the Lakehead; began at 6 a.m. yesterday and is scheduled to end at midnight tonigt. About 7;500 commuters rode buses yesterday as GO Transit chartered more than 30 buses for the rush hour service and special service to CNE.
