Original Toronto Star caption: Rainy Days can create some problems for camp counsellors keeping their charges happy and busy; usually indoors; but it takes a lot of dampen the spirits of children at camp. Here children attending a YWCA day camp didn?t waster any fun time just because ? they just put on their raincoats and went ahead with their sing-song anyway. Day camps offer involvement for children without prohibitive costs. Many of the day camps have special programs such as hockey; sailing or tennis; while others plan excursions for the campers to parks; museums; historical sights and theatre. It?s a happy experience while still at home.
