Original Toronto Star caption: At an ever-increasing tempo the vast Empire Air Training Plan is moulding airmen by the thousands to play their part in the smashing of the Nazi menance. To Canada from all corners of the empire are being sent young men to become pilots; gunners; bombers; mechanics; or any one of the cogs in the huge aerial war machine that is being geared to produce from 50;000 to 70;000 warbirds each year. By next midsummer the flow of trained men to Britain should reach its peak and a new phase of the war will commence with great armadas striking hard and furiously at Germany and her air force. The picture at left is symbolic of Britain's Canadian trained; ever increasing air power.
