Original Toronto Star caption: Before an altar in their east end apartment high priestess Nan Zotique and high priest Jonathon Zotique perform a Hollowe'en ceremony for a coven of witches. Hallowe'en is the witches' festival; their celebration of a new year; and the nine witches of the Zotiques' coven; robed; sat in a circle of leaves and chanted ritual words. The ceremony takes almost 90 minutes-exorcism of harmful influences; calling on the dead to visit them and a blessing on each member.
