Original Toronto Star caption: Claremont roads getting back to normal; Snowdrifts as much as 14 feet high had been seen in the Claremont area in the wake of last week's storm; and Regional Road 5 just east of Claremont had been closed until Saturday night; but yesterday crews and plows from Durham Region works department were clearing Road 5 (seen from Regional Road 1; better knows as Brock Rd.). At least no more snow is in sight: A high-pressure area is expected to bring in sunny skies and milder temperatures until Saturday.
