Original Toronto Star caption: In high spirits; Miss Canada (Carol Commisso) and Yum-Yum the clown fly through the air just before the start of the Red Cross society parade from Varsity stadium today. The parade was used to draw attention to a blood donor clinic. The Varsity clinic is the last of a series of special clinics planned to ease summer shortages that threatened to cause cancellation of surgery in some Metro hospitals.
