Original Toronto Star caption: Happy children having a ball in playground are house guests of the Salvation Army in the new homes provided for them on Broadview Ave. Termed The Cottages; they consist of three homey-type buildings where children of broken homes can live in a family-type setting with a housemother and father to give them loving care. Twenty-six children live in the cottages; which are replacements for a more institutionalized type of accommodation.
