She has pleaded with politicians; and listened to the hopeful predictions of psychics. She has worn wigs and sunglasses to stalk campgrounds and trade shows in Florida and Indiana; where she had reason to suspect her husband and son might be. She has taken her story to newspapers and television stations and put ads in U.S. magazines that help find abducted children. She has even chased cars down lonely streets after catching a glimpse of drivers who look exactly like her husband.
