Original Toronto Star caption: Happy motoring: At 97; Rev. William Butt of Unionville is one of about 700 licensed drivers over 90 in Ontario and; if he is not the oldest driver; he is surely among the oldest. He started driving in 1924 in a $325 Ford after being ordained a Methodist minister; and now gets around in his '68 Plymouth. The body is pretty well shot so maybe I'll buy a new car in the spring; he says.

H. S, (Stan) Bond won't retire although he'll soon be 94. He's too old to renew his driver's license so makes his sales calls via bus and streetcar. Bond thinks today's company managers would do a better job if they were given bonuses for boosting profits. His customer say he knows merchandise well.
