Original Toronto Star caption: From the roof of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church at King and Simcoe Sts.; Rev. Douglas Stewart surveys the area which will be redeveloped as Metro Centre and Harbor Square. Together they will bring some 40;000 residents to the area between Yonge and Bathurst Sts. south of Front St. No churches are planned for the development. As the nearest; St. Andrew's expects to play an important part in providing both religious and cultural services. The congregation looks forward to the challenge facing it.
