Dimitrios Siafas; 6; places flowers on the Old City Hall cenotaph as Metro' Greek-Macedonians celebrate the liberation of their homeland by Greek forces 66 years ago; after 500 years of Turkish rule. With him is Rev. Paisios Ypskantis. War veterans paraded yesterday; and today at 11 a.m. there'll be a commemorative mass in St. Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church on Thorncliffe Park.
