Original Toronto Star caption: Witnesses Prepare for a Convention; The Jehovah's Witnesses of southern Ontario are preparing for their annual convention at Woodbine Racetrack. It begins Thursday; and by Saturday they expect 15;000. It will take 5;000 volunteers to feed them. A crew of butchers volunteered to convert 5;000 pounds of beef; which just arrived; into roasts. Helping with task are (from front): Doris Miles and Elizabeth Jameson of Oshawa; Merle Hollister of Bowmanville; and Jim Wilson of Scarborough; 3-course dinner; 85 cents.
