Original Toronto Star caption: Students Mark Anniversary of Massacre; Marchers parade through Nathan Phillips Square today to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Babi Yar; the place outside Kiev where the Nazis shot and buried 90;000 Jews in September; 1941; during World War II. Organized by the Student Council for Soviet Jews; the marchers carry a coffin which was placed before a mock gravestone. Rabbi Emmanuel Forman and David Sadowski conducted brief service.
