Original Toronto Star caption: Near wedding tragedy; During a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony last night in Rexdale; the hair of candle bearer Shyamala Lawrence (left); 12; caught fire from candle she carried. But the priest and nearby attendants had flames out in seconds; and she was not burned. She carried on as if nothing happened. Yogi Raj Sharma (right) marries Sambathkumar Sangarasivam (the groom) and Rajeswary Nadarajah moments later.
