Original Toronto Star caption: An instant thermometer is applied to forehead of 3-year-old Andrew Van by Dr. Maxwell Axler. He'll know within 60 seconds Andrew's temperature. He's using Clinitemp; a revolutionary new fever detector. Thin plastic contains thermochromic liquid crystals that react to temperature by lighting up various colored indicator stripes on strip and reading temperatures up to 42C (105F). The kids love it; says Dr. Axler.
