Original Toronto Star caption: Retiring with $879,619, Douglas and Vera Brennan of Scarborough have decided to retire early - after winning $879,619.66 in the last Lottario draw. Brennan, 57, a Metro police sergeant will leave the force June 1 after 28 years. Vera, 56, will quit her secretarial job in May. Brennan has spent $10 a week on Lottario since it began.
