Original Toronto Star caption: Pinpoint control: Clare Johnson, a supervisor at York Central Hospital, uses computer to keep track of patients as well as their conditions. The hospital became a leader in the field when it was chosen in 1975 to conduct a pilot project for the Ontario health ministry.
