The Canadian Arthritis and Rheumatism Society, one of 75 United Way agencies, played a major role in her recovery. Mrs. Bennett, shown with two of her three daughters, Sandra, 14, and Susan, 18, and family pet Frisky, holds the walking cane she was able to discard.
