She underwent surgery at Hospital for Sick Children to straighten a curved spine. It will allow her to stand straight, and perhaps fulfil her ambition to become a teacher. To make it possible, Toronto surgeon Dr. John Hall waived his fees, Dr. Campbell MacArthur, of Oakville, paid air fare, Shriners paid hospital fees.
