Original Toronto Star caption: Lung transplant team at Toronto general hospital led by Dr. J. M. Nelems (left) and Dr. Tony Rebuck worked over 12 hours giving a new lung to a 19-year-old man whose lungs were damaged in a fire. The young man's chances of survival now are excellent, Nelems said at a news conference yesterday. The transplanted lung came from a man who was killed in a traffic accident near Metro.
