Original Toronto Star caption: A bleak scene: Patrick Chu, 31, a former psychiatric patient, sits in his room in a Parkdale boarding house. Yesterday, Health Minister Larry Grossman visited the King St. W. house to see how residents lived and pronounced it bleak. However, he was told the house is one of the better ones in the area. Grossman also announced a $162,000 grant for a model home for ex-patients.
