Original Toronto Star caption: Hunt for Amy has Happy Ending, Metro police and harbor police search Don River near Queen St. yesterday (left) for Amy Birmingham, 3, of Blevins P1. Search turned out to be needless because, while Amy had slipped away from babysitter with friend, Debbie Fernal, 3, of Blevins P1., she hadn't fallen into the river as Debbie told babysitter. She wandered back to a grocery store in Gerrard St. - Greenwood Ave. area where she was found and returned to mother, Amelia (right). You're not going to go down there again, eh? Mrs. Birmingham asked. No, mommy, she whimpered, I'm not going.
