Original Toronto Star caption: Closed after 43 years, the Oakville office of the Ontario Provincial Police bears a simple sign put up last night by Constable Frank Harvey. Calls are automatically switched to the Burlington OPP office, where most of the Oakville office's 21 men are taking up new duties. Oakville office began as one constable on a motorcycle patrolling the narrow highways and country roads that existed then.
