Original Toronto Star caption: Nine years ago Max Orlans learned a lesson that could one day saves his life. It had been two days since the 83-year-old North York resident had heard from his elderly sister, so he talked her landlord into letting him into her Willowdale apartment to see if something was wrong. Orlans discovered her lying on the floor, she had died several hours earlier. I know I'll never forget that sight. It could so easily happen to me, he says. But that's why I got into this program. It's like a blessing from God. [Incomplete]
