Original Toronto Star caption: 100 Sikhs help restore blood banks, Bhag Singh Hansra (left on bed) and Kamaljit Singh Niggar were among about 100 members of the Sikh Youth Federation and the World Sikh Organization in Canada who gave blood yesterday at a Red Cross clinic in the ManuLife Centre. The group, formed to show Sikhs are peace loving, responded to reports that the blood supply was destroyed by a refrigerator breakdown.
