Original Toronto Star caption: Acorn's Wake celebrates the life and works of the late poet Milton Acorn with readings, dramatic performances and music Sunday, 8 p.m., at Theatre Passe Muraille (16 Ryerson Ave., 293-8880). Special guests include host Cedric Smith, poets Al Purdy, Bill Bissett and Robert Priest, actors Eric Peterson and Susan Hogan and The Perth County Conspiracy. Tickets are $7, $5 for unemployed/students/poets. The wake starts earlier in the day at Grossman's Tavern (379 Spadina Ave.) with a 1-5 p.m. session of poetry readings and music by Real Image.
