Original Toronto Star caption: The chief of police makes a pitch, Toronto Mayor David Crombie, wearing a catcher's mask to umpire a baseball game last night in Davisville Park between senior officers of the Metro police force and the women of People Organizations in North Toronto, is pushed aside by Marjory Lawrence, the POINT pitcher, protesting to Police Chief Harold Adamson that he wouldn't swing at her pitches. Game ended in a 12-12 draw after six innings.
