Original Toronto Star caption: Peter Appleyard jams with his friends. Canada's foremost vibraphonist got together with four of his friends at the Forum at Ontario Place Saturday night and made the place hate. Peter Appleyard brought together Buddy DeFranco on clarinet (seen with him above), Hank Jones on piano, Marty Morell on drums and Slam Stewart on base. Last night old smoothie Nelson Riddle took over the Forum for an evening of easy listening.
