Goalie Allan Bester, top left, will man the fort in the opener tonight against the Blues in St. Louis. And owner Harold Ballard, left, with general manager Gord Stellick, isn't letting the pressure get to him. Cool-as-a-cucumber coach George Armstrong, right, figures if his charges can't get charged up about this weekend, then they never will. It could all come down to tomorrow, when they meet the Hawks in Chicago.
