Original Toronto Star caption: A mild draught of beer and some bitter advice. In the first day of shooting of a feature film, Face Off, NHL veteran George Armstrong gets a make-up touch up today as cameramen prepare to start filming in the Brunswick Hotel beverage room. In scene, Armstrong, playing part of an older hockey players, gives sage advice to a young superstar, played by Art Hindle (in checked coat). The advice has a bitter tinge - and the beer shown in the glasses is phony. The shooting for the film started at 7 a.m. today.
