Original Toronto Star caption: Mission to Moscow for thousands of Canadians rooting for Team Canada in the Moscow series of four hockey games against the Soviet Nationals team began here at Toronto International Airport. About 2;700 Canadians have poured into Moscow in the past three days giving the Russian capital a Grey Cup air. The Canadian hockey players; arriving in the Soviet city from Stockholm after their two-game series against the Swedes; were greeted by a throng of autograph hunters. This is tougher than the Chicago stadium; Black Hawks' Stan Mikita muttered as he fought his way through. I thought this was supposed to be a strange country. One fan expressed surprise at friendlines of Soviet people.
