Original Toronto Star caption: Security duty: Soldier Serge Boulanger; an automatic rifle over his shoulder and a two-day radio strapped to his belt; does patrol duty outside Montreal's Olympic Village as the July 17 opening date for the Olympics draws closer. The Village; which will house more than 10;000 athletes during the Games; is nearly complete. But athletes who stayed there during a weekend track and field meet critized the facilities as cramped; inconvenient and noisy.
