World's foremost karate master; Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose; breaks one-inch board over head of 30-year-old Mamoru Yamamoto; his prize protege and three-time all-Japan karate champion. Not to be outdone; Yamamoto at right matches feat by shattering slab of stone; 1 1/4 inches thick; with karate chop. Both will be judges of North American karate championships at CNE Sept. 2 and 4.
