Original Toronto Star caption: A hot car wins a prize: A flame-painted racer designed and built by 13-year-old Greg Rice of Petrie Way in Mississauga won the trophy for best-styled car in a soapbox derby in Scarborough. Greg built it for Karl Stesfler; 11; of Brampton; who won the grand championship in it. The racer; costing $100; had hospital-stretcher wheels.
