Original Toronto Star caption: The Skirl of the pipes of Scotland's senior Highland segiment; the Black Watch; last night was enough to make every one of the 27;000 people in the audience at the CNE Grandstand come away feeling just a wee bit more Scottish; says Star staff writer Peter Goddard. The Scotish World Festival Tattoo's pageantry was based on tradition and the Black Watch summed up what it was all about. There was also a light-show by the City of Wellington band from New Zealand.
