Original Toronto Star caption: Take A jump in the Lake!-An Most Torontonians would probably shudder at the mere thought of plunging in Lake Ontario's 32-degree waters these frigid days; but four hardy Polar Bears actually did that down by the Boulevard club yesterday afternoon. Furhermore; they came out of the icy waters to pound their chests and roar Swell-just enough nip to make you feel good! Proof of the fact that we grow'em tough in Ontario is Don Booth (1); marathon swimmer; who was the first one in the water. [Incomplete]
