Original Toronto Star caption: Caribana '72 parade dances down University Ave. Saturday; its exuberant bands and carnival airdrawing spectators into the big; happy family. About 10;000 persons wound up at the ferry docks for the crossing to the Islands; where the festivities are in full swing today. Because of the crowds; the parade was late starting and frequently delayed; despite the efforts of police on horses and motorcycles to get the thousands of spectators back out of the line of march.
